Nick & Victoria’s intimate wedding was greatly inspired by Wes Anderson’s films with autumnal colour palette of burnt orange, yellow and earth tones. We incorporated the perfect balance of his style in their wedding decorations, with an added twist of their beloved beagle, Mr. Bean! Instead of Fantastic Mr. Fox, we have created Fantastic Mr. Bean with quirky illustrated portraits of Mr. Bean throughout the entire wedding!
The pretty wooden cart was used for Nick & Victoria to display their pre-wed photos. We loved the rustic and industrial feel to it! We filled it with mugs, apples, and vintage kitchen utensils to suggest hints from the kitchen of Fantastic Mr. Fox.
For their solemnization, we wanted to bring a quirky blend of retro and fun details of Mr. Fantastic Fox film to the outdoor settings at Open Farm Community. The idea of the vintage doors backdrop was to suggest the house of Mr. Fox. We hand-painted one of the doors in orange to create a bright and colourful standout against the greenery. Other details included jazzing up the area with hanging colourful tassels and placing cute illustrated aisle decor of Mr. Bean.
The table centerpieces were in simple brown bottles which complemented the wooden accents of the table settings over at Open Farm Community. Our tutu kueh live station was also well-loved by the guests and a hit in any wedding!
